1. Once the form is received, we will respond letting you know if that date and time is available

2. If the requested date and time is not available, we will email you back with other date/times available close to the date you have requested

3. Once the date and time has been decided, we will send you an invoice for a 50% non-refundable deposit that can be sent via E-transfer, details for E-transfer are provided on the invoice

4. Once the E-transfer has been received, we will email you back to confirm receipt

5. We will then send an email to get the party details to design your e-invite for you (e-invite design included in cost)

Our at-home puppy parties are designed for children 8 years and older.

We love little ones - but we love keeping our puppies and your children safe even more.

Puppies are small, fragile and unpredictable, and young children are still learning how to listen to
instructions, control their excitement and understand an animal's boundaries. Add birthday-party energy into the mix and it can become overwhelming very quickly.

Our puppy parties are hosted by puppy handlers - they do not come with ECEs or childcare providers.
Our team's responsibility is the care, safety and well-being of the puppies, not managing or supervising a room full of young children.

That's why our at-home puppy parties are reserved for children 8 years and older. At that age, kids are generally better able to follow our handlers' directions, understand gentle handling and give a puppy space when asked.
It's not about excluding younger kids.
It's about knowing our limits, protecting tiny puppies, and making sure the experience is safe and enjoyable for everyone.

The short answer: we don’t know yet!

Pudgy Pups is a rescue, not a breeder. Parties are booked weeks or months in advance, and we simply don’t know which puppies will be in our care when your party arrives.

We can’t promise specific breeds, sizes or looks. What we can promise is a group of healthy, vaccinated, social puppies who are ready and appropriate to party.

If having a specific breed is important to you, we may not be the right fit — a puppy entertainment service that sources or rents puppies from breeders may be better able to guarantee that.

If you’d like to reach out the week of your party, we’ll be happy to share the breeds and names of the puppies scheduled to attend.

With rescue, you don’t choose the puppies. You choose to support the mission.

Please do not book a party if there is a risk of allergies. We can’t guarantee that all of the puppies coming will be hypoallergenic. If a party is booked with a deposit sent- the deposit is non-refundable. Please check with all party guests PRIOR to booking regarding allergies.

1.5 hours. Set-up time and tear down time is outside of the 1.5 hrs of pure puppy time for you and your guests! We arrive 30 minutes prior to party start time. Example: If you would like your party to start at 1pm, we would arrive at 12:30pm for set up. Similairly, if you booked us for a 1pm start, you and your guests enjoy the puppies right up until 2:30pm, then we begin tear down.

No. There are no additional travelling fees, all fees have been included in the cost.

All of them! Birthday parties, kids birthday parties, bachelorettes, engagement parties, divorce parties, Christmas parties… basically any party!

Yes, some of the puppies will be available for adoption. However, cannot be adopted from the party, we ask that you use our standard adoption application process, located here.

As you know, Pudgy Pups only uses rescues, and yes there was a time when the puppies came into our care when they would not have been healthy and vaccinated. However, through funding by Party Pups and Classes at Pudgy’s Place, all the puppies attending the party are happy, healthy and vaccinated.

With us! The puppies do not live in a shelter, they live with us in our homes. We are; the rescue, the foster, and the adoption center.

Yes! In addition to having enough staff to assist with puppy handling, we come with puppy slings, kind of like a purse- that the puppies can go in, remaining safe and secure while giving you an opportunity to hold them.

All deposits are non-refundable.
We understand that plans can change, and we're happy to look at one date change where possible.
Date changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Once a booking has been rescheduled, no further date changes will be permitted. If you're unable to proceed with the new date, the booking will be cancelled and the deposit will be forfeited.
We appreciate your understanding - your date and time are reserved exclusively for you, which means we turn away other bonkings once that spot is secured.
