This is an evening for women to come together, cuddle some puppies, and have a real conversation about sexual assault, women’s safety, accountability, and the systems that too often fail us.
Sexual assault isn’t politics. Accountability isn’t politics. The right to feel safe is a human right.
There’s a line being repeated over and over in conversations surrounding the Cornell7:
“This is bigger than one case.”
It is.
Because behind these conversations are real women. Real experiences. Real fear. Real anger. And questions that deserve to be asked out loud.
This isn’t about political parties or telling anyone what to think. It’s about making room for women to speak, listen, question, vent, and be heard.
No speeches. No judgment. No expectation that everyone agrees.
